Utilities: Water is supplied by Wimberley Water Supply, Aqua Source (Woodcreek), or private wells. Electricity is furnished by Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Inc. Telephone service is supplied by Verizon (formerly GTE). Sanitary Sewage is handled by septic tanks and sewer system (parts of Woodcreek). Cable/Internet: Local cable television service is supplied by Time Warner Cable out of Austin. They also offer broadband Internet access through their Road Runner cable modem service. VOWnet and Anvil Communications offer broadband wireless Internet access. Time Line Internet Service provides local dial-up Internet access, as well as ISDN service and T1 leasing. Fire and EMS: Wimberley is served by an award-winning Volunteer Fire Department andEmergency Medical Service. Both, the fire department and EMS, as well as the Sheriff's office respond to the County's 911 service. |

Fire and EMS: Dripping Springs is served by North Hays County Volunteer Fire Dept and EMS services. Located within minutes of Dripping Springs is Seton Southwest Healthcare Center, a state-of-the-art medical facility offering residents first-rate service right in their backyards. Seton Southwest offers 24-hour emergency care. In addition, Dripping Springs has a local EMS service providing ambulance services in critical situations. |
